Another interesting but totally disappointing news from Apple, iPhone OS 4. Yes, they've manage to incorporate multitasking to this new OS in a way that won't drain battery BUT this new feature is only for iPhone 3GS and iPod touch 3rd gen. For the rest of us who's still using the older versions of iPhones & iPod touches, we remain restricted in running one app at a time, although the new OS has lots more in store. Steve Jobs reasoned that it is basically the hardware of these older devices that can't handle the newest and biggest feature of this new OS update. Looks like I'm gonna need to auction my 3G already!

Multitasking is just one out of a hundred-plus new features that OS 4 is said to have. Everybody including developers, advertisers and even big enterprises who use iPhones in their businesses are sure to enjoy these new features.

OS 4 was launched last April 8 and is going to be available on iTunes for iPhones (3G and 3GS) and iPod touches (2nd and 3rd generation)  this summer, and for iPad this fall.
